STEP 6: Working with Builder

STEP 6 – Working with your Builder or Home Dealer

Work with your Builder or Modular/Manufactured Home Dealer to finalize the complete design/cost of your home construction, plus all land improvements including, building permits, grading, foundation, utilities, etc.

  • This process could take several weeks or several months depending on the complexity of your project.

Builders or Home Dealers typically require a deposit for the home and advance payment for preparing the site construction estimate. In some situations, part or all of the permit fees will need to be paid prior to closing.

  • Any money you pay out-of-pocket towards the project can possibly be credited towards your down payment

Once the numbers are 100% final, the Builder or Home Dealer will send us the cost of the home and the cost of all site construction.

ONE-TIME CLOSE CONSTRUCTION FINANCING

The One-Time Close Construction Loan is a home mortgage that can be used by the borrower to close both the construction loan and the permanent financing of a new home at the same time. ย The loan is closed one-time, upfront, before any construction begins simplifying the process and saving money.
